Job Purpose Responsible for management of Professional Services category as well as act as North America Regional Indirect Procurement Manager. Through impactful cost management, innovative business solutions, and improved process efficiency, this role will enable the business to achieve outstanding operational and financial results. This role will be responsible for collaborating both regionally and globally to develop and implement category strategies requiring strong project management skills and the ability to influence others to effectively drive change in the company. Also responsible for contract negotiations and management, supplier relationship management, stakeholder engagement, management of category and North America procurement activities, and building global leverage with strategic suppliers. Job Description In this role, the category manager will be responsible for all professional services subcategories, including corporate services, agency personnel, and travel with a particular focus on engineering services category. The role will provide oversight and guidance to the global category managers for the subcategories, as well as provide strategic direction to the regional category leads for engineering services by managing a global network with this team where strategies will be developed collaboratively across the regions with a focus on global strategy alignment. Another key success factor is building a deep understanding of the category and developing a close working relationship with the OneEngineering organization with the aim to become a strategic business partner to OneEngineering. Additionally, over time, the expectation is that additional technical indirect services will be absorbed into this category from other areas of GSP today. This will require the ability to build a business case, influence others and manage change at the highest level.
