SEN Teaching Assistant required – Gateshead – £85 – £95 per dayAre you a SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion to encourage progression in your pupils? This exciting SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for more flexibility and a placement in a good school in Gateshead. This rewarding role is to start September 2024 and will be ongoing until further notice. SEN Teaching Assistant responsibilities and duties:– You will be required to support secondary age students with various degrees of SEN difficulties, including Autism. – You will at all times implement school policies and procedures and manage the classroom and behaviour. SEN Teaching Assistants of all levels and experience will be considered for this role, including NQTs. To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant role you should have:· A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. · The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students. · Previous experience providing support and assistance to SEN students. SEN Teaching Assistant Salary and Benefits:· Competitive rates of pay from between £85 to £95 per day (AWR Compliant). · 24/7 support and feedback from experienced education consultants. · Exposure and networking opportunities to associated schools.
