We are working on behalf of a Good School in Balsall Heath who are opening a Resource Base for primary-aged pupils on the autistic spectrum with Education, Health and Care plans. We are looking to appoint a committed Teaching assistant to join their team.. As a member of the resource base team, you will work alongside two teachers and two Level 3 teaching assistants, to meet the pupils' needs. You will also have opportunities to work alongside staff in a successful mainstream school. Successful candidates will also:• Successful experience of working with SEND pupils, particularly those on the autistic spectrum• have a good knowledge of autism and a willingness to learn more• work collaboratively and effectively with others• be an enthusiastic, hardworking professional who can motivate and inspire children• be punctual and reliable• have high expectations of themselves and others and be committed to promoting high standards• commit to safeguarding our pupils.
