As a Security Coordinator, you will be primarily supporting the Business Director and Business Manager with their respective contracts to improve compliance, reduce costs, identify efficiencies, encourage the engagement of staff, and improve our offering to the customer. The broader role is to coordinate and support the portfolio by providing robust administration provisions to ensure that the portfolio meets the requirements of the business. The Security Coordinator will be required to liaise with other WJ Subject Matter Experts and departments as well as clients where necessary. Key targets to be met by set deadlines. Working in a fast-paced environment.

  • A typical day in the life as a Security Coordinator:

  • Prepare, coordinate and attend meetings. Note taking required 
  • Data analysis using Timegateand Wilson James Business Cloud.
  • Creating and utilising a Project Planner, keeping it in linewith the Schedule of Works 
  • Creating and updating of various trackers 
  • Prepare presentations for senior management as and when required
  • Document control and preparation
  • Organise and attend voice/video conference calls, telephone calls and other enquiries as required
  • Prioritise daily workload in conjunction with urgent requirements and deadlines 
  • Prepare, coordinateand manage meetings, slide packs and documentation
  • What are we looking for?

  • Previous administration experience in a similar role 
  • Proven ability to use Microsoft suite of software (Project Planner, Excel, Word, Outlook) to collate and analyse data; produce charts and graphs; document formatting and proof reading 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal, non-verbal and written 
  • Flexible, proactive and task ownership 
  • Must be diplomatic and have the ability toengage and develop relationships with all stakeholders 
  • Must be organised, detail orientated, able to prioritise their workload and deliver to deadlines 
  • Analytical and methodical problem-solving skills
