My client is a well-established specialist in the overhaul and dismantle of motors, pumps and gearboxes.

Due to ongoing success, they are looking to recruit a Sales Engineer to be based out of their site in East London.

The successful candidate will either have a background in engineering, and looking for a career in sales.

Or, an established Sales Engineer looking for a new challenge.

You must be based around the London area and have a UK Driving Licence.

Sales Engineer Position Overview

Attending customer sites throughout London and the South East
Investigating issues with electric motors, pumps and fans and other apparatus across a wide variety of industries
Meeting with customers and advising on engineering solutions
Producing quotations for repairs and discussing these with customers
Gaining a technical understanding of the full range company products
Keeping in regular contact with customers and establishing business relationships
Building a network of contacts through trade shows and social media

Sales Engineer Position Requirements

A technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering.

There is no specific product knowledge required as the company can assist with this.

However, knowledge of motors, pumps, and fans is desirable
Ambitious and outgoing personality
Happy to travel to sites throughout London and the South East
UK Driving Licence

Sales Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Company car and credit card
BUPA after 1 years' service
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
