We are a well-established IT software solutions provider into the education sector, you will be responsible for a specific geographical area and responsible for growing our customer base by meeting schools of all sizes including M.

Job responsibilities and targets


  • To secure meetings at schools and present products – target of minimum 5 visits per week
  • Achieve both monthly targets and ARR targets
  • To attend school cluster meetings and national conferences to present products.
  • To develop the geographical region to secure additional sales, growing IRIS’s market share and budget share.
  • To identify key accounts in your territory based and support those with strategic growth plans for their MAT
  • Ensuring quality of customer data and keeping CRM up to date.
  • To work closely with colleagues across the company to ensure a coherent and consistent customer experience, through from sale to implementation and beyond.
  • Cross sell the whole Education portfolio of IRIS products
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with existing school customers in the region , using phone, email, face-to-face and mass communications as appropriate

Person specification


  • Proven ability to manage a territory to deliver sales
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets
  • Flexible approach to working
  • Ability to influence others
  • Proven ability to work as a team whilst being self-motivated
  • Experience of working in the education sector
  • Ability to keep records of own work using a CRM

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 36 months experience in a similar Field Sales role.

Experience in selling some form of web based software for schools/companies would be advantageous, however this is not essential and we would welcome proven sales people from all backgrounds.
