REPROGRAPHICS AND DISPLAY TECHNICIAN * Starting date: As soon as possible * Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week; term time only (39 weeks per year) * Salary: £22,635 - £25,138 per annum (actual salary) – more for a suitably experienced applicantWe are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Reprographics and Display Technician.

The purpose of this role is to provide effective and efficient reprographics, design and print services to the school.

You will be responsible for daily printing of teaching materials to aid teaching and learning.

You will also produce and maintain high quality displays in all areas of the academy.

In this role you will also: * carry out batch production work on reprographics machinery, setting up machines and maintain continuous checks on batch work in production for quality outputs at all times, * be responsible for daily printing of materials to support teaching and learning and distribution of finished work to teachers, managers, tutors etc * manage the operational state, maintenance and repair of all printers and MFCs throughout the academy up to first line maintenance standard or implementing operational servicing as required, * order and maintain stocks of paper, printing and finishing consumables (e.

g.

ink, staples, binding and laminating pouches) for the academy; researching, negotiating and dealing with relevant suppliers to ensure maximum cost savings and best Value for Money, * support the school in-house photographer and develop a library of photographs to be used in marketing materials and school website, * design school related materials, to include production of internal displays, * maintain Reprographics in a secure, clean tidy and operational state, * undertake routine administrative and clerical tasks in support of the school’s administrative functions.

The ideal candidate will: * have good literacy and numeracy skills * be able to work to tight deadlines, prioritise work and deal with conflicting demands, * have experience of using hardware and software (e.

g.
