Job description Prospero Teaching are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Special Needs for a Primary School in Hodge Hill, Birmingham. You will be supporting a pupil in Reception on a 1:1 basis who has additional needs, this role will require personal care assistance. This position is due to start in early September 2024 and will continue on a long term ongoing basis. SEN Teaching Assistant Contract/Position Details Location Hodge Hill, Birmingham Position EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant Type of work 1:1 SEN Support Start date September 2024 Likely Duration Ongoing supply cover Position end date July 2025 Contract type Temporary Full-time/Part-time – Full Time Minimum rate of pay Hours 8:20am-4pm (term time only) Supply TA Experience, Training and Qualifications It is essential that you have Teaching assistant experience, along with a relevant qualification Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Childcare/TA/Early Years required Experience of working with children with SEND/Additional Needs Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
