Job Description: The successful candidate will manage the financial aspects of fit-out projects, ensuring they are completed on budget, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of the projects and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for fit-out projects.
  • Conduct risk analysis, value management, and cost control.
  • Perform cost analysis and prepare estimates for materials, labour, and equipment specific to fit-out projects.
  • Negotiate contracts and work schedules with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Oversee the procurement of fit-out materials and services.
  • Manage project finances and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional membership of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or similar is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the fit-out or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fit-out construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and QS software.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
