Job Title : Quality Inspector Location : WolverhamptonSalary : £30,000 - £35,000 Oliver Rae is currently recruiting for Quality Inspector to work for one of our well known manufacturing clients based in Wolverhampton.The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet the established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves performing inspections, testing products, identifying defects, and recommending necessary improvements to maintain product integrity.This is not just a visual inspection job therefore, if you have got extensive quality experience with knowledge of metrology tools then this role may be perfect for you!Brief Description of Job Duties:Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometres, and gauges.Conduct functional and performance tests on products as required.Record and document inspection results, including defects and deviations from specifications.Prepare and maintain inspection reports, logs, and records.Communicate findings to the Quality Manager and relevant production personnel.Identify areas for quality improvement and provide recommendations.Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.Assist in audits and assessments conducted by internal and external auditors.Requirements Must be able to read drawings.Strong attention to detail and precision.Proficient in using precision measuring tools and equipment.Good understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Other: Working hours are Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 and Friday 07:30 - 13:00To be considered for this Quality Inspector role please click "Apply" to be considered.Oliver Rae is an Established Recruitment Business with offices based in Walsall and Halesowen.
