Quality Engineer * Quality Engineer * Staplehurst, Kent * Days, Monday-Friday * Automotive Component Manufacturer * £45K - £50KWe are working with an established vehicle component manufacturing based in Staplehurst, Kent. They are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri).The Quality Engineer will review Quality Procedures / Policies and recommend & implement improvements.Key Responsibilities include: * Undertake testing of products, systems and procedures to ensure customer and regulatory requirements are met. * Carry out internal and external audits. * Attend supplier visits where necessary * Implement Quality Standards & Systems * Create Control Plans, FMEA, APQP, PPAP’s * Implement and improve quality procedures and policies * Manage warranty claims. * Carry out root cause analysis and manage the non-conformance processExperience required: * Working knowledge of LEAN/Six-Sigma * Knowledge of FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, SPC, PDCA * Experience with PPAP & APQP * Auditing to ISO9001 & IATF16949 * Non-Conformance Management - developing corrective actions, solutions & improvementsThis position is commutable from: Tonbridge, Staplehurst, Sissinghurst, Maidstone, LenhamRelevant Job Titles: Quality Engineer, Senior Quality EngineerAll applicants must live in the UK and be eligible to work and live in the UK.
