    Job Description

    As a Purchase Ledger Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading a team of finance assistants to success, ensuring all invoices are processed within a timely manner
  • Proactively managing the relationships of internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and assist in implementing new processes to streamline work flow
  • Proposing corrective action to team members when/where required
  • Being a role model within the department, demonstrating the groups values and behaviours
  • Conducting monthly 121 and review meetings with staff
  • Dealing with any escalations that may arise
  • Having difficult conversations with external suppliers over the phone
  • Supporting the team when the volume of work is high
  • Other adhoc responsibilities

    The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Experience working in a similar role previously
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Experience managing a team of staff previously
