People In Power is working in partnership with a leading EPC to support them in delivering 132kv substations and associated cabling works across the UK either for large new connection projects ranging from Data centres, Battery storage, large-scale Solar projects or National Grid Frameworks.Due to exponential growth, we are looking to secure a Project Engineer/Assistant to undertake essential civil Engineering responsibilities and provide assistance to the Project manager across a variety of 33kv cable installation works on National Grid sites.You will be site based and report to the Project Manager who will work across a number of sites. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited too; * General site surveys * Quality control inspections * Rams * Setting out cable routes * compliance functions * site setting to work activities, * Assisting the Manager with necessary project administration activitiesYou must have experience working as a Senior Site Manager/ Project Engineer on HV cabling & substation projects previously, ideally in a National Grid environment.Must be IT competent in the use of Excel, Word, MPP, Basic Auto CADTo discuss this role in more detail, please get in touch with Abigail Young Read More |
