Production Control Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing shift of technicians within the PCS workshop, reporting into the Operations Lead.

As a Production Control Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Ability to lead a team effectively and resolve technical and personal challenges encountered on the shop floor
  • Plan and organise workshop activities to ensure business priorities are met
  • Ability to adjust and coordinate workshop priorities at short notice to meet customer and business needs
  • Collaborating with other departments/functions within the Montrose COE as well as building relationships with the Controls COE at Nailsea
  • Carry out maintenance and repair of technical, mechanical and electrical equipment / production equipment before and after shipment offshore
  • Creating a positive working environment and atmosphere to allow the team to achieve their targets
  • Promote and improve HSE culture on the shop floor
  • Drive a continuous improvement mindset across the whole team to ensure Quality Metrics are reviewed and actions implemented to improve this.
  • Strong knowledge of Subsea Controls Systems, including software / electrical expertise
  • Work closely with Software engineers to diagnose and resolve software issues
  • Proven experience of both mechanical and electrical as a technician or similar
  • Work closely with Ops Lead to ensure shop floor targets are defined and achieved on a daily / weekly basis
  • Provide cover for Ops Lead when they are on leave
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers and closely with customers whilst on site
  • Work closely with QC to ensure documentation is signed off and procedures are correctly followed
