Value Stream Coordinator 

This newly formed role of Technical Purchasing & Value Stream Coordinator offers a broad scope of involvement across the supply chain from part procurement to product build within a low volume complex manufacturing product line.

Our products are used in high performance sensing systems in the demanding and often harsh environments of defence and space applications.

We require a self-starting enthusiastic individual with a sound technical mechanical engineering background. Preferably in a low volume manufacturing environment.

The role will include sourcing and procuring small batch complex, mainly machined parts within our well-developed supply chain & subsequently coordinating a small team of manufacturing staff through product build and shipment, and would suit someone with either procurement experience looking to broaden their experience in end-to-end manufacture, or someone with hands on experience leading small teams wishing to develop broader skills within the supply chain

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

oDirect procurement of materials through existing supply chain ensuring quality, delivery and cost requirements are achieved.

oTrack and maintain part schedules in line with production planning.

oBuild and maintain supplier relations whilst identifying new suppliers when required.

oCommunicate business objectives within external and internal supply chains.

oProvide input to cost and delivery quotations in support of new customer enquiries.

oCreate a collaborative supportive team environment with strong focus on providing value to our customers.
