On behalf of our client we are looking for experienced butchers to join their team. Based off Hessle Road (HU3) area. Duties:- Prepare and cut meat products according to customer specifications - Ensure the quality and freshness of all meat products and implement stock rotation at all times. - Assist customers with their meat selection and provide recommendations on cooking times, allergen information and meal suggestions. - Receive and inspect meat deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality- Operate and maintain butcher equipment and knive- To maintain a clean and tidy area (work, changing room, canteen etc), meeting both safety and hygiene regulations of the site- To wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times within the production areaExperience:- Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role preferred- Knowledge of different cuts of meat and meat preparation techniques- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision- Excellent knife skills and ability to operate machinery safelyThis vacancy is advertised on behalf of Sutton Recruitment Limited who operate as an Employment Business.
