PE Supply Teachers – Salisbury


Prospero Teaching are looking for passionate and motivated PE Supply Teachers for a selection of Secondary Schools across Salisbury and surrounding areas.


Due to the current challenges with staffing shortages, Schools are requiring a high volume of day to day and short term supply teachers.

We are looking for teachers to cover for planned and last minute absences, specifically in PE.


This position is open to experienced teachers, as well as those newly qualified.


About the Supply Teachers Position:


  • Excellent daily rates at £110-£135
  • Flexibility to choose the days you work and the schools you work in.
  • No marking, planning or preparation – cover work is provided for you.
  • Providing general cover for last minute and planned absences.

    • The Successful Supply Teachers will have/be:


  • Strong classroom management skills while providing an inclusive learning environment.
  • Confidence while teaching across Key stages 3-4.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Hold high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.
  • Posses strong interpersonal skills while communicating with parents, pupils and staff.

    • To be Eligible the Supply Teachers must have/be:


  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • The ability to provide two professional references that cover the last two years of employment.
  • Hold a fully enhanced DBS certificates (child workforce only) that is registered to the Update Service, or be willing to complete one.
