As a Payments Specialist, you will report to the Payments and Reconciliations Manager and will be in the office three times a week at our London HQ Office.

What you'll do:

  • Process vendor and expense payment batches on a daily basis, for all global markets
  • Raise daily multi-currency manual payments in the bank
  • Forecast AP cash flow to the Treasury team daily
  • Investigate and track bounced payments
  • Resolve payments related queries, liaise with vendors and internal staff
  • Process electronic cheques across various markets
  • Raise journals and ensure payments are accounted for correctly
  • Identify bank detail issues and work with other teams to resolve accordingly
  • Email daily remittances to vendors
  • Other ad-hoc financial tasks
  • Monthly Reconciliation Assistance
  • Requirements

  • Previous accounts payable/payments experience
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently but can discern when to escalate a problem
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain ongoing relationships
