Puro Accountancy is pleased to assist an Accountancy firm located in Manchester in their search for a part time Bookkeeper to become part of their experienced and growing team of accounting experts.Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper will include: - Recording sales and purchase invoices
- Bank reconciliation
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Processing payroll journals
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Balancing sheet account reconciliation
- Skilled in managing a client portfolio within a practice setting
- Capable of working autonomously and comfortable resolving inquiries and requesting information from clients
To be considered for the role of Bookkeeper you will be/have: - A minimum of 2 years working within a UK practice Accountants
- AAT qualified or looking to complete this or equivalent soon
- Have exposure with various software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and DEXT
- Hold good knowledge of VAT and the ability to apply VAT rules and regulations
