About the Role: Gilbert Meher is delighted to partner with a leading client in the healthcare sector (Care Homes / Nursing Homes) to recruit a dynamic Operations Manager/Director for a family operated care home group based in Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee multiple care homes, providing strategic leadership and operational support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents living in the care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to care homes within the designated region.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies across all Care Homes / Nursing Homes.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of Home Managers and care teams within the nursing homes / care homes.
  • Implement quality assurance processes and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement of the care homes / nursing homes.
  • Build strong relationships with Home Managers, staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Regional Manager or more senior role within the care home / nursing home sector.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards CQC etc.
  • A proven track record in improving care standards, occupancy rates, and financial performance withing care homes / nursing homes.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding care and improving the lives of residents living in the care homes / nursing homes.
