The role: To be a support role for the stock controller and all store operational processes, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently according to company standards.

Being available to support both back of house and front of house tasks according to the store’s needs.


Responsibilities of part-time Operations Assistant position:


    • Proficient operation of the till system, including setup, maintenance throughout the day, and end-of-day closure.
    • Organize admin processes, such as consignments, inter-store transfers, and collaborate with the stock controller on end-of-season returns and stock organization.
    • Manage client repair processes and aftersales, handling both client-facing and logistical elements.
    • Supervise the store email inbox, ensuring prompt responses.
    • Oversee omnichannel operations related to Armani.com, coordinating with the stock controller.
    • Maintain awareness of licensed product ranges, including sunglasses, watches, and jewellery.
    • Replenish cash desk, packaging materials, perfumes, testers, and licenses to uphold high standards.
    • Maintain impeccable housekeeping in stock rooms and around the cash desk.
    • Understand product categories and ensure proper storage and organization in stock rooms.

Requirements


  • Previous stock controller experience in retail is essential
  • Thorough understanding of the till system, banking, cash handling, and procedures
  • Experience with inventory shrinkage targets to maintain organizational standards
  • Motivated individual with a positive attitude
  • Strong commitment to luxury customer service and store standards
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues and management
  • Highly PC literate, experienced with modern integrated computer systems
  • Good organizational and administration skills, with a sense of responsibility
