Nursery Teacher Private Nursery Term-Time Only Permanent Role Wandsworth Role: Nursery Teacher Salary: £24-27k dependent on experience Start date: 9th September 2024 Contract: 8:00-16:15, Monday-Friday, term-time only Permanent Location: Wandsworth Ofsted Rating: Outstanding Minimum qualification: Level 3 CACHE/NCFE Diploma in Childcare or Early Years / QTS / EYTS At Clarus Education we are working with an Outstanding Private Nursery in Wandsworth who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working, and motivated Nursery Teacher to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis from September 2024. The Nursery has a very strong community ethos with both of our children having attended the nursery before moving on to local primary schools and we are always delighted that many families and extended families keep in touch with exciting news of their children. They have an annual calendar of treasured events but aside from that their class teams plan for their children a week at a time, which means they can follow the childrens interests to maximise their engagement and enjoyment. This spontaneity keeps their delivery of the curriculum fresh and vibrant it contributes to the happy atmosphere that visitors to the nursery often comment upon. The nurserys children feed into local independent preparatory schools, so they are keen to appoint experienced Pre-Prep staff who have experience of delivering Development Matters and Phonics. Ideal Candidate: Must be at least Level 3 Qualified, if not have QTS or EYTS Enthusiastic and willing to develop within the early years sector Patient, empathetic and supportive approach Experience of leading within a Pre-Prep or Nursery School setting Able to deliver and lead lessons related to Development Matters Strong knowledge and understanding of teaching Phonics Key Benefits: Generous with holidays Very good staff retention Supporting staff in professional development Can support staff to complete EYITT We will be contacting those shortlisted within 48 hours of an application.
