My client is a leading global drinks brand known for their innovative products and commitment to quality. They pride themselves on our diverse portfolio, which includes some of the most recognized and loved beverages around the world.

As a National Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales strategy and ensuring the successful promotion and distribution of our products within major pub groups. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and achieving sales targets.

The ideal National Account Manager will have a background managing large pub operators along with a proven track record in business growth.  

National Account Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in large pub groups.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and ensure mutual satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the brand and network with potential clients.

The Ideal National Account Manager candidate:

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager or in a similar sales role within the drinks industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the pub sector and experience managing large pub groups.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
