On behalf of an excellent client, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering team. This role would suit either Mechanical or Electrical bias Engineer reporting to the Engineering Team Leader. You must have experience of working within an FMCG environment. RoleThe installation, testing, maintenance and repair of all plant, services and buildings within the siteTo carry out planned preventative maintenanceLiaison with Production to provide pro-active support ensuring maximum performance and efficiency of production runsCompliance with all company ISO, SAP & HACCP procedures, ensuring all works are carried out in a safe, tidy and hygienic mannerAdherence to legislation and Company, hygiene, health and safety policies during all works in accordance with PPE requirements at all timesTo support continual improvement through identifying site improvement projects and personal development opportunities to the Engineering ManagerPersonExperience of mechanical or electrical engineering within a manufacturing environmentExperience of working in an FMCG environmentProven experience of planned maintenance systems, breakdown maintenance and installations and knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsExperience in fault diagnosis in a production/manufacturing environment This role is a Monday to Friday role paying from £40000 p/a to £44000 p/a.
