We are expanding our team in Glasgow and seeking 2 experienced Mechanical Fitters with expertise in pipe fitting and the installation of large industrial components.**Job Summary**:As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a critical role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of pipe systems, buffer tanks, vessels, and other mechanical components within our renewable energy and energy centre projects. You will work alongside a dedicated team of professionals to ensure all mechanical systems meet our stringent quality standards and client expectations.**Key Responsibilities**:- Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and other technical drawings.- Measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling new pipe systems, including high and low-pressure pipe systems.- Installing and removing vessels, buffer tanks, and related equipment.- Inspecting and replacing damaged or worn parts.- Conducting routine maintenance on piping systems and mechanical components.- Working with a variety of tools and machinery to perform installations and repairs.- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.- Communicating with project managers and clients to discuss project details and progress.- Collaborating with other team members to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.**Qualifications**:- Proven work experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role in the renewables sector or related industries.- Proficiency in working with various hand and power tools.- Knowledgeable about industrial and construction safety standards.- Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints and schematics.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.**Education & Certifications**:- Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in mechanical fitting, pipefitting, or a related field is required.- Certification in mechanical engineering or pipefitting is a plus.**What We Offer**:- Competitive salary based on experience.- Opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing sector.- Comprehensive benefits package.- Ongoing professional development and training.For more information please contact Andy Townsend @ ASARUM Ltd
