RESPONSIBILITIES: Our UK agency is recruiting a new collaborator as a Mechanical Equipment Engineer M/F to provide technical oversight of the doors contracts for Hinkley Point C project. The collaborator will be in charge of you will provide technical oversight of the contract(s), including the surveillance of technical documentation and specially calculation notes, the management, and the resolution of open points and changes related to Design, Manufacturing, and Qualification. You will also be responsible for keeping the contract at the configuration compliant with the project's progress. The position will be based in Bristol , in a permanent contract . • Leading technical meetings • Surveillance of calculation notes and technical drawings from contractor • Technical surveillance and resolution of issues/queries • Review and approval and design where necessary • Review of non-conformances and exemptions requests, open points, design changes • Control and Management of the evolution of the contract and design changes • Review and approval of contract amendments and exemptions (CTSs, ERs) • Liaise with RD and client teams to ensure integration of equipment with interfacing functions/systems • Liaise with RD and client management teams to communicate progress, risks, issues and planning to support contract delivery. • Reporting of KPIs to the CEL • Ensure qualification activities are progressing according to the contract progress and site needs. • Help to upskill other members of the team BACKGROUND AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Essential
