Teaching Assistant - SEN Specialist (Complex Learning Difficulties) Prospero Teaching are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work at specialist school in Oldham for those aged 13-18 years old with additional and complex needs. The school is part of a learning disability organization supporting children and young adults with complex learning difficulties, disabilities and additional communication needs from across Greater Manchester. You will provide learning support to pupils and work in groups and on a 1:1 basis supported by other support and education staff. Ideally you will have previous experience of supporting those with complex needs or working within education. Some pupils may present challenging behavior and so candidates must ensure they are comfortable working in this type of environment and be aware that these are physically demanding roles.
