The Role:


The Technical Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping their future.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of approximately six software engineers, empowering them to excel.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guide engineers' career development.
  • Plan and delegate tasks, ensuring clear ownership and project success.
  • Champion the hiring process, representing their mission and culture to potential candidates.
  • Onboard new team members and ensure a smooth integration.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and performance reviews.
  • Set and track goals for individuals and the team, providing constructive feedback.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels, keeping everyone informed about progress and challenges.
  • Mitigate risks and ensure project success.
  • Report progress and achievements to the Engineering organization.

Are You a Fit?


  • You have 5 years of experience leading software engineering teams.
  • You possess a strong technical background and can provide guidance to engineers.
  • You come from a software engineering background (ideally Java).
  • You are a passionate and inspiring leader who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • You have excellent people management skills and a commitment to professional development.
  • You are a strong communicator and can effectively represent the team's progress and challenges.
