A school within the Tameside area are currently searching for a lab technician to work with the science faculty, supporting students throughout the lessons in a range of different activities and helping to manage resources.


Ideally, the school is looking for a candidate who has already worked within the science department, however anybody who's recently completed their degree within the relevant field, could prove to be very useful within the secondary school.


Key roles and responsibilities within position:


  • Maintain and prepare all classroom resources.
  • Support the current science teachers with the delivery and execution of the lessons/experiments.
  • Ensure that all health and safety measures are kept up to date in a suitable manner.
  • Deal with any cleaning or material issues responsibly.
