Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a portfolio of completed projects
  • A degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
  • 1-2 years post-graduate experience in the luxury residential sector
  • Knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and furnishings
  • Excellent creativity and artistic ability
  • Proficiency in design software Vectorworks is essential to this role. 2D minimum, 3D preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Proficiency in Houzz Pro desirable but not essential
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Good supplier and product knowledge, including FF&E and finishes
  • Strong technical ability
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Impeccable and concise communication skills

The role will include

  • Working in a small team with one of our mid-weight or senior designers on 4-6 projects at any time.
  • FF&E space planning
  • Produce material schemes and mood boards
  • Producing technical drawings in Vectorworks format
  • Putting together client presentations
  • Creating full project costing schedules and budgets
  • Sourcing FF&E and assisting the procurement team
  • Designing bespoke joinery and FF&E. Reviewing with suppliers technical drawings prior to manufacturing
  • Developing detailed specifications and managing a pre-agreed budget
  • Working with contractors and suppliers to ensure the design and quality are executed as per the specification and to the highest standard
  • Regular site visits and report progress
  • Coordinating all aspects of the FF&E procurement and installation process
