We’re seeking a Junior Buyer to join our recently launched homeware and interior brand, Casa by Josephine Jenno. We want our curated, eclectic range to inspire customers to inject personality and interest into their homes. You’ll be working closely with the founder to develop our range and have a broad scope of responsibility. Key Role Responsibilities Ensure our range of products embodies the brand and is perfectly curated for our customers. Trade our current range, placing orders according to budget. Develop our product range along with the founder and manage relationships with our current suppliers. Maintain awareness of competitor brands. Negotiate the best possible terms with our suppliers Report on sales performance and provide actions to the rest of the business. Work with our creative and copy team on launching new products on our site (Shopify) and ensure our pieces are presented at their best. Managing samples and stock for photoshoots. General administrative support across the business. Experience/Skills We Are Looking For 3-4 years experience in buying/merchandising Experience in homeware/interiors (branded or private label) Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and Google Suite, particularly Excel and Google Sheets Strong communication and teamwork skills Organised with attention to detail and accuracy Commercial awareness and ability to take ownership of projects Nice to have: Experience in start-ups Interest in sustainability and social responsibility Experience with Shopify This is initially a FTC role for 6 months on a 3-day per week basis. There is an opportunity for this to become full-time and go beyond the initial 6 month period.
