International Tax Manager • Location: Frimley, Surrey • Function: Tax – Shared Service Centre Overview: About the role Reporting to the EMEA Shared Service Centre Tax and Treasury Director and working closely with the Sr. Director, International Tax, the purpose of this function is to manage the statutory, insurance and tax obligations of Europe by managing the Tax and Statutory Accounting (TSA) Leads in the region. There are Eleven reports, who cover TSA in the Group Lead countries, Swiss HQ, Poland, Ukraine and Greece. The role should develop a talented and empowered team of TSA experts. This position acts as liaison between Corporate Tax, Corporate Insurance, Regional SSC and outsourced service providers ensuring that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles and standards. This includes providing technical expertise and advice on financial issues to functional and operational areas of the business. Prepare the organisation’s financial reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management. Reports include auditor and financial analysis reports, profit and loss statements, balance sheets and regulatory reports and filings for Corporation tax and any other statutory and legal requirements. In addition to the above, this function also directly manages the statutory, tax and insurance responsibilities for the group in which the role is located.
