**Job Description:**We are seeking a skilled and switched on Intermediate QS to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior services, with a focus on drylining, ceilings, and/or joinery.

While experience in these specific areas is preferred, it is not essential as long as the candidate demonstrates a willingness to learn and grow within our organisation.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing costs and ensuring the financial success of our projects, while also contributing to the overall growth and development of our organisation.

**Key Responsibilities:**- Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.

- Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.

- Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.

- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

- Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying and addressing any cost variations.

- Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.

- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to minimise financial exposure.

- Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project delivery within budget and time-line constraints.

**Requirements:**- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

- 2-5 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry.

- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.

- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.

- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Membership or working towards membership with a relevant professional body (e.

g.

, RICS, CIOB).
