My client is an innovative and well-established Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, with a global presence. The firm has a reputation for honesty, creativity and tenacity. They are looking to hire a HR Coordinator on a permanent basis to join the wider team.

The HR Coordinator will work closely with the Head of HR and will be responsible for the smooth running of the HR and office functions. The key duties will include:

  • Dealing with day to day employee enquiries.
  • All recruitment and on-boarding activities; coordinating arrangements for leavers.
  • Providing support in the management of staff time off work (holiday, sickness etc).
  • Preparing correspondence, contracts and other documents.
  • Assisting with payroll preparation and annual salary review; managing other staff benefits such as private healthcare, including renewal, communications and record keeping.
  • Coordinating the Firm’s annual performance review process.
  • Assisting with health and wellbeing, equality, inclusivity and diversity initiatives.
  • Providing support in training activities and other key employee engagement events.
  • Day to day administration, such as keeping the Firm’s HR database and HR records up to date.
  • Provide support with HR projects, play an active role and contribute suggestions for the development of the Firm’s HR function.
  • Assist running the Firm’s virtual ‘reception’ line.

The HR Coordinator will be an enthusiastic and personable candidate with a genuine passion for HR. They must have some experience in a HR administration role and must be a good communicator. This role would suit someone who is looking to progress their career in HR, is proactive and a quick learner.
