​We are currently partnering with a well-established educational body based in Cambridgeshire, who are recruiting for a HR Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a part-time position (27 hours) which offers hybrid working and a salary of £23,378 (£31,385 FTE) and some great additional benefits (see below).

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Assisting with the preparation of job descriptions and recruitment packs
Assisting line managers with providing suitable interview questions
Supporting line managers by sitting on interview panels and when requested
Advising staff and managers on less complex employee relations issues
Ensuring all payroll paperwork is received and logged, including right to work checks
Drafting paperwork for amendment to contracts including changes of hours, roles and pay
Responding to straightforward HR queries regarding policies and the staff handbook
Booking, monitoring and logging training completions e.

Writing letters to confirm resignation acceptance and calculating accrued annual leave entitlement
Assisting with writing reports for committees e.

Experience required:
Experience of working in an administration capacity within HR
Ideally be Level 5 CIPD qualified
Knowledge of employment law
Experienced user of Microsoft Office
Demonstrate factual and theoretical knowledge of HR Administration

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and networks
Ability to resolve complex problems
Ability to work independently and unsupervised
