HRLife are pleased to be exclusively working with a Berkshire based client to find their next talented HR Advisor.

This is a great role for someone who has a couple of years’ experience working in an HR role who is keen to learn, develop and build experience in ‘all things people’ and support with project work.


The role offers great exposure to stakeholders as you’ll be supporting them with advice and guidance on a variety of people issues as well as the opportunity to get involved in working within the people team on a range of projects.

Working in a lovely environment, reporting to a supportive HR Manager this would suit someone who can challenge positively, has great communication and influencing skills and has ‘a bit of sparkle!

Key responsibilities will include;


  • Coach managers and employees on a range of people issues such as absence, performance, disciplinary and grievances
  • Work with managers to upskill and coach them on having difficult conversations, educating them on processes and policies
  • Prepare reports and analysing data; identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with current legislation
  • Coordinate and manage all long-term absence, take part in meetings and implement any necessary adjustments
  • Take ownership of all GDPR related tasks and requests, adhering to legal requirements.
  • Coach, mentor and support the HR Co-ordinator
  • Conduct quarterly wellbeing meetings and embed new initiatives
  • to identify and develop opportunities and areas of improvement within performance management
  • Partner with the leadership team and HR Manager to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business.
  • Provide HR business support on key projects, working with leaders to deliver organisational objectives
  • Assist and support in strengthening the reward and recognition programmes, including reviewing the current benefit packages to ensure we are competitive within current industry standards
  • Work collaboratively with Internal marketing and Communications team and HR team to support awareness days
  • Contribute and assist in business focused projects; Retention, Mental Health, Employee Engagement, Reward and Recognition

Ideal background will include;


Minimum CIPD L3 or equivalent or qualified through a minimum of 3 years HR experience


Previous experience in dealing with ER cases such as Grievance/Disciplinary hearings


This role is hybrid.

Essential you are a car driver.


1 day a week in the office in Berkshire - easily accessible from Maidenhead, Reading, Bracknell etc.


Salary 30-34k plus benefits.
