Job Purpose

This position will be a hybrid role and the successful candidate will be expected to split their time between our two sites in the Netherlands; Nieuw Amsterdam and Arnhem. The HR Business Partner will provide operational and Strategic People & Culture (P&C) leadership and coordinate/support People & Culture activities for the Netherlands business units. They will also be expected to advise and consult local leadership, manage Employee Relations, Union/Works Council communications, and ensure compliance with local employment laws. Part of the role will be identifying workforce needs and drive business objectives by partnering across multiple functions of the business.

Job Description

  • Provide first-line P&C support as required. 
  • Participate/Lead P&C Simplification, Standardization and Industrialization (SSI) projects, within business unit level.
  • Support local leadership on organizational topics in compliance with applicable legislation. 
  • Coordinate Organizational Development, promote communication tools, support various projects, and assist in compensation matters for new roles.
  • Prioritize employee development requirements and monitor the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Reinforce TechnipFMC's values by setting the right examples through your own actions, coaching, and communication. 
  • Build strong relationships with senior site management; schedule regular meetings with key stakeholders to keep up to date on business’ and P&C initiatives.
  • Work as part of a regional P&C team, aligning on corporate strategies and supporting team members.
  • Talent Management

  • Actively Monitor Performance and Talent Review campaigns, implementing and supporting associated systems as required.
  • Retention: Follow-up of identified Talents and implementation of retention plans
  • Succession plans: follow-up of succession plans
  • Conduct career talks with key populations
  • Develop and support training plans, focusing on strategic priorities agreed with the management of the site and ensure utilization of corporate tools and L&D personnel
  • Maintain and manage headcount plans for your area
  • Ensure recruitment and onboarding activities are managed effectively in conjunction with Talent Acquisition processes, support recruitment as necessary
  • Support hiring managers with interviewing, onboarding and inductions where appropriate
  • Coordinate employee surveys, focus groups, and other feedback methods to identify work environment trends and improvement opportunities and recommend strategies for improving employee engagement and retention
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews

  • Advocate for employee wellbeing, working with leadership to maintain and enhance the quality of work-life.
  • ERP Data Management
  • Overseeing ERP data: work with HRIS, GBS and P&C stakeholders to ensure accuracy and currency of ERP systems data (employee records, organization charts, finance, cost centers etc.)
  • Support and contribute to the transition to global shared services business model.

  • Coordination and follow-up of Promotions and adjustments
  • Coordinate annual salary and bonus reviews, consulting with managers.
  • Provide advice/support to Managers and employees during annual salary review cycle.
  • Support compensation programs, reviewing job descriptions, performing job analysis, analyzing salary surveys to monitor internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Liaise and work with C&B team in accordance with internal procedures.
  • You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Human Resources/Business Administration or related discipline)
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English
  • Ability to influence constructively
  • Ability to operate independently & see tasks through to completion
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the business, as well as external suppliers and organizations
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws (preferable)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and processes
