Are you a Graduate looking for a new and exciting opportunity within HR?

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has administrative experience and is looking for a new challenge to join a well reputed, values led company. The main purpose of this position would be to assist the HR Team with all aspects of operational processes and projects.

Duties for this role include but are not limited to: 

  • Supporting managers and staff on employment related procedures , policies, processes, and terms & conditions
  • Managing and building long standing relationships with external providers, providing a high quality and cost-effective service when negotiating on contractual terms  
  • Processing invoices, liaising with the financial department
  • Working closely with all departments and teams assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures .
  • Manage a caseload including disciplinaries , ill health and issues or complaints, ensuring compliance with the procedures.
  • Providing general administrative assistance to the HR Team 
  • Dealing with end-to-end of the recruitment process in line with business requirements, sourcing candidates in a timely manner 
  • Undertake activity which supports HR operational processes , leading on specific activities as required & team with the continuous development and improvement of the HR department
  • Providing general support to other teams as and when required
  • The successful candidate will be/have:

  • Educated to a relevant degree level or equivalent
  • Experience working within an office environment
  • Confident in using all MS Office applications
  • Able to meet deadlines and be organised in managing your own workload
  • A proactive approach and can-do attitude
  • Previous experience aiding a busy HR department (desirable but not essential)
  • The ability to work constructively as part of a team and independently
  • Trustworthy and honest with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A team player: someone who doesn’t mind getting stuck in!
