Housing Paralegal Salary – Up to £27,000 DOE Location – Leeds My client is now looking for a Housing Paralegal to join their office in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a caseload of non-contentious property matters. Job summary Job title -Housing Paralegal Location – Leeds Salary – Up to £27,000 DOE Reports to – Head of Department Previous experience – Previous Housing/Real Estate experience Duties will include but not be limited to: -Managing a caseload of non-contentious property matters -preparing Land Registry applications and liaising with the Land Registry in respect of these and responding to requisitions and submitting SDLT returns -responding to client and third-party queries and chasing for responses as appropriate -preparing matters for exchange and completion and requesting funds from key clients in accordance with their respective procedures -assisting the team in the management of matters including updating any case management system and ensuring client and matter records are maintained in line with firm and client procedures -preparing engrossments of legal documents for execution, and sending those to the correct parties Key Skills -be efficient and methodical -be pro-active, enthusiastic and committed -offer flexibility to adapt their style and use different approaches -have effective diary / administration management If you would like to apply for this role, or learn more, then please get in-touch with Bethany @ Simpson Judge today Read More |
