Head Resourcing are delighted to be partnered with an innovative Scottish-founded e-commerce business who are looking to hire a Head of IT to join them on their exciting journey.


Our client has ambitious goals to scale over the next few years and take their business globally.


This is a hybrid role which requires the successful candidate to be based out of their Glasgow office three days per week.


Our client requires an experienced Head of IT who will work with the senior leadership team to develop a comprehensive IT strategy for the foreseeable future which will align with, and support their business strategy and growth plans.


Skills & experience required to be successful:


  • Proven experience in a senior position with IT, preferably within retail or the e-commerce industry.
  • Experience of leading teams with the ability to influence and inspire technical peers.
  • Strong technical expertise across a broad range of technologies, including, but not limited to website and marketplace platforms, cloud computing, software development, data management, and cybersecurity.
  • Hands on experience with big data and software development.
  • Experience of setting up a helpdesk function.
  • Ability to think strategically and have an interest in emerging technologies with experience in leveraging new capabilities.
