Group Finance Manager, FTC up to 12 months, Wellingborough based company, full time hours, to start mid June 2024 £50,000 - £60,000 PA DOE + Benefits, Monday to Friday working

Travail Employment Group are partnered with a well established manufacturing business who are seeking a Group Finance Manager to work on a FTC for maternity over for a period of up to 12 months. Our client has been established for over 20 years and have three manufacturing facilities across the Midlands and Yorkshire. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for all financial reporting services for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of accounts department of 4 experienced staff including credit control
  • Full consolidated month end accounts - including prepayments and accruals.
  • Manage cash-flow and budgets/forecasting.
  • VAT, CT61 & ONS returns.
  • Check & authorise weekly payroll and run monthly payroll.
  • Management of the year end audit
  • Reports for directors & present management information to relevant managers
  • Deal with queries from internal and external stakeholders

    • This role will be ideal for someone who has a strong work ethic who operates openly, with integrity and who thrives on being hands-on as well as managing. The ideal person will have the following and be able to demonstrate their knowledge and capabilities.

  • CIMA qualified is desirable but almost qualified will be considered.
  • Be confident and experienced in management accounting
  • Have strategic and analytical skills
  • Strong and confident communicator
  • Sage 50 accounts and Sage 50 payroll is essential.
  • Experience of management of staff with strong leadership skills
  • Must be a driven individual prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.
