Role Description

This is a full-time role for a General Manager, UK. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations and strategic initiatives in the UK and Europe region, working closely with the Global CEO. This includes managing a team, developing and implementing business strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving growth and profitability. The role also allows for initial flexibility with some remote work and flexible location, with our UK permanent HQ location to be decided soon.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute business growth plans in conjunction with the global team
  • Responsibility for UK/Europe financial performance – P&L, budgets, cost control
  • Responsibility for UK/Europe sales and marketing
  • Manage UK/Europe recruitment and personnel processes
  • Support Regional Project Managers in project planning, delivery, and client relationships
  • Fill in for Regional Project Managers as required
  • Ensure the successful rollout of existing client contracts across multiple UK/Europe locations

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven leadership experience in a senior management role
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Experience in the audit and inspection industry an advantage
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards an advantage
  • Experience with project management processes an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, finance, management) preferred
