We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Framework Director to join our client, a market leader in the water industry, for a role overseeing projects within the Thames Water region. This senior leadership position will ensure the strategic and operational excellence of multiple projects within the framework, driving innovation and efficiency.

As a key leader in the organization, you will be responsible for the overall success of the framework, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance across all projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the Thames Water framework
  • Implementing and upholding the Business Management System (BMS) across all projects, from initiation to completion
  • Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Overseeing resource allocation and management, ensuring optimal staffing levels and clear role definitions
  • Monitoring and managing project performance, ensuring alignment with the Project Execution Plan and strategic objectives
  • Approving detailed project plans, risk assessments, and method statements, ensuring comprehensive planning and execution
  • Leading the procurement strategy for materials and equipment, optimizing cost-effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including CDM and Health & Safety standards
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practices and innovation across the framework
  • Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary construction projects, preferably within the water industry
  • Deep understanding of project management principles and construction methodologies
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to inspire and manage large, diverse teams
  • Strong familiarity with Construction Contracts, particularly NEC and/or IChemE
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety regulations
  • Proven track record in managing water and wastewater treatment plant projects (highly desirable)
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
