Job Title: Fleet Manager Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Location: HitchinMy client, a large Tool / Plant / Powered Access hire company operating Nationwide, are looking for a Fleet Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the day to day management on the Vehicle Fleet, Tracking Branch Health and Safety and ensuring stock is managed and tracked accordingly.The role of Fleet Manager in brief: - Monitor and update the Operators Licence with new HGV vehicles & Oversee and monitor company OCRS score system and report to relevant Manager.
- Ensure company O License cards are valid and in use at each site.
- Manage tacho data from HGV Drivers & Complete tacho card applications
- Ensure that all fleet vehicles have the appropriate insurance
- Complete an annual audit of all insured vehicles
- Order, distribute and cancel Fuel cards for Fleet vehicles as required.
- Prepare schedule of vehicles due for annual replacement, Tax & MOT
- Check daily reports for stock numbers
- Liaise with Account Manager to load stock to stocking plans.
The ideal candidate for Fleet Manager : - Previous experience in a fleet management role or similar with good understanding of vehicle compliance and regulations.
- Strong Excel skills
- A high level of attention to detail and analytical eye.
- Knowledge of or obtained CPC
