The role is part of the Financial Reporting Team (“FRT”) within BUPA Global (“BG”).

FRT comprises three reporting accountant roles (of which this is one) and another team that manages the General Ledger, and the accounting, interfaces and controls (inc reconciliations) over it.

The primary focus of this role is statutory accounting and reporting, with responsibility for IFRS group quarterly reporting, UK legal entity monthly reporting, Danish and Swiss legal entities and technical support and assistance to Egypt Finance for their forthcoming IFRS17 conversion.


You’ll help us make health happen through:


  • BAU monthly and quarterly reporting to meet Group requirements
  • Support for Egypt’s conversion to IFRS17
  • Production and audit completion of Danish and Swiss financial statements
  • Other ad hoc reporting and project work as required
  • Implementation of process improvements
  • Key Skills needed for this role:


  • Must be a qualified Accountant, preferred ACCA/ACA or non-UK equivalent
  • Strong and evidenced experience of financial reporting, especially meeting technical accounting challenges and managing audit processes.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, achieving and exceeding targets and displaying resilience in the process.
  • Strong interest and experience in process improvement and re-engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes.
