Venn Group are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association who are looking to recruit for a Financial Controller to join their team.


Job title: Financial Controller


Location: Buckinghamshire


Contract: Permanent


Duties:


  • Lead on year end and prepare annual statutory accounts
  • Submit annual budget for board approval
  • Ensuring Balance sheet reconciliation are accurate and up to date
  • Oversee the preparation of cash flows
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Liaise with HMRC and tax advisors to ensure tax compliance
  • Manage the Financial Accountant and Transactional Finance team

    • Systems/ Qualifications:


  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or Equivalent)
  • Able to demonstrate strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Previous experience in Social Housing background desired
