Location: The Arkley Care Home, 140 Barnet Rd, Arkley, Barnet EN5 3LJ

Salary: Up to £26,517 per annum

Contract: Permanent 40 hour contract

Shift Pattern: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Welcome Bonus: £1000

You’ll help us make health happen by:

  • Maintaining robust and accurate financial administration processes to ensure the smooth running of the Care Home
  • Being responsible for ensuring invoices are accurately raised, monies are allocated, and debt management routines are all maintained to meet weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Liaising with Local and Health Authorities to ensure appropriate and complete documentation is received, as well as ensuring that Terms and Conditions are provided for all admissions
  • Safeguarding monies on behalf of our residents - recording and reconciling transactions to bank statements
  • Ensuring effective administration of purchasing, supplier payments and petty cash
  • Processing of employee and payroll related information
  • Supporting the Home Manager by providing clerical support and maintaining well-ordered filing systems
  • Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Proven experience as a financial administrator within a similar setting
  • Experience in sales ledger and credit control with an understanding of financial billing systems and debt management practises
  • Reconciliation experience
  • Experience and knowledge of payroll / HR processes
  • Strong attention to detail with problem solving abilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with our residents, their families, and internal / external teams
