The impact you’ll have:

Reporting to the Payments Manager, the Financial Accountant will lead and execute operational reporting for Trade Receivables and Payables, Bank Reconciliations, Expenses and other ad-hoc reporting. The ideal candidate will be automation/ efficiency focussed.

Your day-to-day:  

  • Responsible for reconciliation of Trade Receivables and Trade Payables
    between operational systems to accounting systems
  • Responsible for creating ageing and generating commercial insights from Trade Receivables and Trade Payables balances
  • Responsible for completing Bank Reconciliations on time and flagging any issues early
  • Responsible for processing expenses/ invoices to be paid
  • Supporting ad-hoc Finance Automation Projects
  • Supporting ad-hoc Financial Reporting
  • Your skillset:

  • Expert in Balance Sheet Reconciliations with a focus on Trade Receivables and Trade Payables
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Exposure to IFRS 9 Financial Instruments
  • Exposure to Finance Automation and/ or Finance efficiency improvements
  • Exposure to building finance reports for senior management
  • Understanding of internal controls environment
  • Self starter and proactive
  • Not necessary but would be desirable to have:

  • Newly qualified ACA/ ACCA/ CA or equivalent
  • SUN Q&A/ Infor BI
  • Anaplan System
  • G Suite experience
  • SQL
  • End to end implementation of Finance Automation
