The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant on behalf of a Waste company in Milton Ernest. Purpose of role Support in the statutory reporting elements of the Ancala Bioenergy Group Produce financial statements for the Ancala Bioenergy Group companies Treasury and cashflow forecasting to aid management decisions Responsibility for capex control and reporting in the business Preparation and submission of VAT returns Balance sheet reconciliations Support the CFO and PE partners with any ad-hoc analysis required The day to day duties of the Financial Accountant will consist of: Preparation of year end financial statements for the individual entities within the group under FRS102. Preparation of information for tax advisors to allow for the production of outsourced tax computations. Liaise with the external auditors during the year end audit process to resolve audit queries. Process inter-company loans transactions and interest. Responsibility for the inter-company loans reconciliation. Preparation and submission of VAT returns Assist in the maintaining of the groups cashflow forecast. Maintain the fixed asset register for all entities. Prepare the monthly capex reporting schedule for all ongoing projects. Balance Sheet Reconciliations Ad-hoc tasks as required Your Profile Experience of preparing statutory financial statements Experience of dealing with HMRC and external auditors IFRS and FRS102 experience Strong IT skills including accounting software and MS Office. Strong excel modelling and knowledge. Be confident in using and switching between different software programs Organised and methodical, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Part Qualified, studying towards AAT/CIMA/ACCA Company
