Meraki Talent are delighted to be engaged with a growing retail business based in the Antrim area of Northern Ireland. My clients are looking to hire a Financial Accountant for a period of 6 months to support with an implementation project, it has potential for the right individual to go perm. The role is paying up to £50k FTE.    The company Forward thinking retail business that have been operating for over 30 years. Growing on a yearly basis roughly 10-15%. They have 50 employees and are fully office based. They believe in a strong office culture and team environment. The Role
  • Supporting a team of 3 accounts assistants along with the Financial Controller
  • Leading a system implementation project across Finance and Operations
  • Prepare and analyse monthly revenue and cost reports
  • Preparation of VAT, CIS and PAYE Returns
  • Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasting
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requirements
  • Ad-hoc duties as expected in a financial accountant role
The Candidate
  • Qualified (ACCA,CA), QBE or PQ
  • Preferably been involved in a system implementation (Isn't essential)
  • A driven individual that showcases strong accounting practices
  • Tech Savvy and is able to adapt and take on information
  • A strong team player, that likes to get stuck in to a challenge
